Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies the dronefield.app marketing website sets, why, and how you can manage them. The separate Cookie Policy on my.dronefield.app describes the cookies set on the customer portal, which include strictly necessary session and security cookies that this marketing site does not need.

Cookies and Storage We Use
Essential storage
A single localStorage entry under the key "cookie-consent" remembers whether you accepted or declined the optional analytics cookies. This entry is required for the consent banner to work and contains no personal data. Outside of this single key, the marketing site does not set any strictly necessary cookies: there is no login, no shopping cart, and the contact form is stateless.
Always ActiveAnalytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-45H3B9PJJY) to understand which pages visitors find useful and where the site can be improved. GA4 sets two cookies on its own — _ga (used to distinguish visitors, expires after 2 years) and _ga_G-45H3B9PJJY (used to maintain session state, expires after 2 years). IP addresses are anonymised by GA4 before they reach our reports. These cookies are loaded only after you click "Accept" on the consent banner; if you decline, GA4 is never requested.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, allowing the website to recognise the same browser across requests. We also use a small amount of browser localStorage to remember your cookie-consent choice; under EU ePrivacy law this is treated the same way as a cookie even though it is technically different storage.
Your Consent and How to Change It
When you visit the site for the first time, a cookie-consent banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in localStorage under the key "cookie-consent". You can change it at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer, or by clearing your site data for dronefield.app in your browser. Declining or withdrawing consent does not affect any other feature of the site.
Third-Party Services
Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google LLC. Its handling of the data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to disable GA4 across every website. The marketing site embeds no other third-party scripts, widgets, or iframes that would set cookies.
